I just got my Girlfriend a 2002 Mini Launch editon car. She needed a good car , I wanted something fun to autocross while my car is on the back burner.

In anycase I am looking to see if any other manufacturer makes wheels that fit the mini. does anyone know if Honda Wheels fit? or if anyone has stock 15" wheels they want to get rid of in the Oakville Area Please let me know. The car is a blast to drive , last season I autocrossed a 94 911 RS America at a few events , The mini is far easier to push than the 911.

Although some Honda and Mazda wheels have the same bolt patterns the offset and the center hub are different sizes. It is possible to make some fit but as you noted the MINI OEM 15 in. wheel is the lightest and most cost effective for the Cooper. If you can't find any locally, check eBay.

A step up from that is the AK Tires 16 in. Monza wheel. They are a board sponsor and offer some good tire/wheel packages. I use their wheel for track and autocross. Not too expensive and only a couple of pounds heavier than the OEM 15.

I'll second what Dukesantos has said.

Several of our board members have bought the AK Tires Monza (although not all for racing purposes) and they seem to be very happy.
