Offline | Missing out AGAIN! I guess it's true - you snooze...you loose. I don't check this site very frequently - just heard about the Toronto premier & of course it's at capacity. Oh well ... I'll have to see it in Burlington. Maybe I'll just sit in the parking lot & see how many people stop by! Cheers! Have fun in Toronto! Dori |

Offline | Hi silvercooper! I was there as well! I must say, I found the crowd to be pretty tame during the movie. Whenever I saw a MINI do a cool stunt, I felt like screaming Woohoo!! and I did on several occasions, and no one seemed to join in! Oh well, I had my fun! ![]() MINI Cooper Feb'03 built |

Offline | Yes, we must find a way to identify ourselves. Man, that host for the event was totally subdued! I thought it was just the wife and I that thought so; what was up with that guy? I could barely hear what he was saying. Hope they have more enthusiasm at the GP. Jakearama. ![]() '05 All Black MCS Convertible |

Offline | I will buy the DVD definitely. Never saw the original Italian Job but it would be great if they could put both on the DVD when it comes out. I saw this last time I rented a DVD, on one side there was Charade, excellent movie with Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn and on the flip side, the remake The Truth About Charlie (awfull) with no other than Marky Mark. Have you ever noticed how this guys always ends up on a remake? (The perfect storm (I think), Planet of the apes, The truth..., and now the Italian Job). The irony is that he plays always the same way whatever the movie. To recognize each other, best would be to wear T-Shirt from MINI2 on the next event. Let's make an official suggestion to MINI2 merchandising, what about a black T-Shirt with www.MINI2.com printed on it, white lettering, to respect MINI styling. Are you in with me on this one? (it is a little bit short noticed since the next event is mid-June, but would be a nice to have) |

Offline | I like the T-shirt idea as well PS: the presenter WAS a snooze, and me too, I found the volume to be quite low (and my hearing is sensitive) Maybe at that cocktail party, with a few drinks down people's throats, they would be more WILD!!! :-)) MINI Cooper Feb'03 built Last edited by very mini : Jun 3rd, 2003 at 03:26 AM. |

Offline | I like the t-shirt idea, DUKE2MINI you are in charge of the t-shirt! I went to a store where they sell only DVDs over the week-end and they told me the DVD of the old Italian job film was not yet available but they expect it will come out at the same time as the new version. |

| MINI2 Master | I didn't make it into the Toronto showing but MINI sent me two gift certificates for Famous Players to see it on my own time! Already saw it but will make use of the certificates anyways (Angels 2 perhaps). Harry MINI Cooper Cabrio: now the car with go cart handling really feels like an open go cart! | MINI2 Regular | I'm a buyer in the fashion industry and if everyone wants I can get some t-shirts made quick and cheap from a local source (with the consent of mini2.com of course). I recently had some made for our company's annual meeting and turn around can be 2 days. Price ranges depend on quantity (these kinds of things can be extremely inexpensive if you know the right people). I'll do this for the MINI2 community so if we get a good number of people it will be nice and cheap $5 - $10 max (Canadian dollar) Amit |
