Just go to www.miniowners.ca and register. Each city has 250 passes. It's showing on the 29th of May in Toronto, don't know about the other cities as I'm in Toronto. You'll need your VIN.

I received my notice today. Unfortunately, I probably won't be going as:

a) I tend not to have much fun when watching "summer blockbuster" type films.

b) That's my pub night.

Ah well. It's a nice gesture of them.

I'm sure we will have a reserved for MINI parking, the idea behind this is to bring some attention around the MINI, right?

this theatre is in the club district of TO and might be a real pig to get parking (especially if there is a Jays game that night) I would be really surprised if they were able to reserve anything - especially as it isn't mentioned.

here's one thing that I will say about the minis in the movie. I think that they had their roofs painted after the fact. the Red Cooper S had black mirrors, the blue cooper had blue mirrors, and the pepper white cooper had a white roof. obviously all of these things are not "normal" options, which leads me to believe there was aftermarket painting involved. Most people wouldn't care, but it's something that I noticed right away when watching it.

The only reason that I posted this, is that it's not a spoiler, and has nothing to do with the story line at all.

Actually, I read a bit about this movie, and I don't even think they use real Mini's at all. Apparently they used something like 30 Mini's to film this movie, none which were actually 100% real MINI.

HAHA.... what a great movie.... I was the only MINI there last night!! I pulled out of the parking lot and everyone just pointed and giggled... "hey look..." it was quite amusing. My car's a celebrity!!

The most recent Austin Powers had that effect too, though it was just in for a small part of the movie. The Bourne Identity did so too, even though it was using a Mini, not a MINI.

My local theatre has a preview on Saturday so it looks like I could see it sooner if I didn't go to Toronto. I still haven't received confirmation from MINI.ca. Has anyone else going to the TO location received final confirmation?
