Offline | Yep... No car wash tonight. I'm glad because i don't think i would have time to clean the mini for the event... I met djfactor (Amit) this morning, the american mini2-guy who now live in Montreal... He'll also be there... It's so funny... i always meet Amit on the road just before a mini event... Last time it was a few days before the winter Rally, he saw me in a store with a mini logo on my bag... since he's not on the canadian mailing list, he was successful to get in the rally at the last minute... and today, he was getting his pass throught Purolator at the last minute also! Can't wait for tonight! Eric G Spadsept MiniCooper S '02,DS/DS (sold) - Volks Bus "Camper" '67 Mustang GT convertible '66 - Jeep Cj-7, '79 Audi A3, '06 |

Offline | Just got back from the Italian Job. It was fun to see so many MINIs in one place. I can honestly say that it is the only time I have ever come out of the theatre and couldn't locate my car because there were so many others that looked like it. By the way, I didn't catch where/when the dinner was that he was talking about. Could someone post the details, including the price (I think it was $45 or something per person). Thanks and good seeing some many MINIs and owners. Jakearama. By the way, Silvercooper, I saw your MINI there! '05 All Black MCS Convertible |

Offline | If only we all had a buddy like wrench... I can't remember the date but it is at : Alexander's 1454 Peel St Montreal, QC H3A 1S8 Phone: (514) 288-5105 It is kind of the headquarters of BMW aficionados during the Grand Prix. Does anyone know if there is something cooking for the Grand Prix this year? |

Offline | It was a great movie with a lot of MINIs! The date for the dinner on Peel is Friday June 13TH (must be a lucky day!) since I believe he said Friday of the Grand Prix Week-end. Jakearame, how do like my new chekered roof? Too bad we couldn't introduce our selfs. I met Amit and Eric, it's nice to put a face on those Usernames!! By the way Eric, thanks again for the CD, I didn't look at it yet since we came home a bit late (I think you left late too since your MINI was about the only one in the parking when I left), can't wait to look at those pictures tonight! See you! Marc-Andre |

Offline | Just to confirm, the dinner is at Alexander's on the 13th of June and the price is ?$ per person? Did anyone catch the price? Also, do you have to make reservations? I would appreciate any info. Thanks guys. Silvercooper, I liked the roof and it was very easy to spot your car. Yeah, too bad that we all don't know what each other look like. Maybe we will attend an event with some geeky "Hello my name is" tags. Anyway, thanks to anyone who can confirm all info on the upcoming dinner at Alexanders. Offline | What I heard is $43 per person and we should have an invitation this week with the phone number to call for the reservation. I guess I was sitting more in the front than you guys to catch all this! |

| MINI2 Regular | The Italian Job Premier was a blast. I got some great shots that i'll share this weekend. It's funny how i'm know as the guy who drives to all the Montreal events from Indiana... Some of us mini2 MINI owners should meet up for drinks/dinner some time. Myself and Eric live downtown so we could either down to St Laurent or Crescent. I could talk about our cars all night. take careAmit |
