Competition

Yeah, Mini owners in Alberta will have some choice once Mini Edmonton opens. I too detest the natural power trips from a dealership without competition.

My experience with this dealer has been positive.

They have been very professional and work hard at achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. While I have experienced some problems, I would say that their learning curve with the MINI has been steady and each time I have been there they have been more knowledgeable.

The title of the thread is unfortunate, and prior to buying the MINI this thread disturbed me. A buddy has had a BMW from the sister dealership however and he reported excellent service. I can happily say I have shared a similar experience

I agree, I had to work hard to get a price that was even a little close to the opening price I was quoted at Yaletown; but overall I am very happy with the process so far. Everyone has been very nice and helpful. Lets hope that it stays that way

Mini Crowfoot- the worst service EVER

I have no problems with the front staff- however, whomever is doing the servicing back there on those cars is not doing their job. They are really good with turning the problem light off, charging something to warranty and sending back car unfixed and dangerous. I had ZERO issues with my Mini until I started taking it to Mini crowfoot. NOw the paper trail is SO thick I have started a very detailed binder.
I have less than 60'000 Km on this thing. I once again have to take it there for the same faulty light that was on last time (2 weeks ago)- ENgine malfunction light- which is causing no pick up on the thing. I don't expect the car to be perfect, but when something goes wrong, I expect it to be fixed. I will update you guys after this next service appt. If it is not fixed, my issues will be posted- some will shock you- some mistakes they made so severe- I could have lost my life. Cars are objects we drive at 120 km an hour, they need to take servicing seriously because when you trust they have done their job and get behind the wheel of your car driving at 120 km, it isn't just about poor service on your car, this could cost peoples lives. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know details.
