I was just wondering how many different levels of schedule maintenance there are. For example,

Level 1: Could be basic oil change, filter change, rotation of tires

Level 2: Multi-point inspection, plus Level 1

Level 3: More under the hood inspections, etc.

What are the costs that people are paying? If I were driving a MIni, I'd be putting major mileage on it and so my tune-ups would be every other month.

Here is some pricing info I posted in Sept:

For those interested, here is what prices are at both Montreal dealers for regular maintenance (over a 4 year lease - mileage is estimated)

Oil Service 1 15,000 km $120 (all are tax extra)
Inspect 1 39,000 km $180
Oil Service 2 63,000 km $120
Inspection 2 87,000 km $325 - cooper $340 Cooper S

In addition, the manual states you must change the brake fluid every 2 years (I don't believe that is incl. in what is listed above).. so that could be 2 times in a 4 year lease at about $200 a pop.

This is why the 3 year US free maintenance package is appealing...

FYI, I changed my brake fluid on my 2002 MCS last summer and it cost me approx $80 at MINILAVAL.
