Just curious if anyone else here is going to attend the Montreal Grand Prix event on June 11th at Alexandre's on Peel? I hope to meet some fellow mini2 members there. They will have a convertible on display there as well. I went last year but didn't speak with anyone from Mini2. So if people are going this year, perhaps we can arrange to somehow recognize each other.

We showed up late last year in the pouring rain...MINIless. It was a great turn out of MINIs and Alexandre's was so packed we decided to move on to another establishment. We're hoping for better weather this year. Can that be arranged Jakearama?

Hey, Jakerama! I'm going to the Grand Prix on the Friday and then straight to Peel for the Mini event. I was invited to the bash (2004 MCS BRG/black roof) but I'm not going to the dinner. Are you parking on Peel? If so I'll come and talk to you! See you on Friday!

I would have go to the Peel MINI meet...

Sorry I missed ya Jake...what colour was that cabrio?

I hounded the 'way-too-serious' security guy that was guarding it to close the roof for me and I didn't let up until he started smiling and laughing at me...good chap but he wouldn't oblige.

I thought it was the 'hyper blue' that I've heard people talking about but I've never seen it, so I am not sure.

Yeah, I thought that it was either that or the black-eye purple...very subtle colour.

I am semi-occasionally wrong with my weather predictions. You really got some nice photos at the event. Too bad I don't know what the heck you look like, otherwise we would have said hello at the event. Maybe next year.
