Shannonville Lapping Events

Hello Everyone!

This summer I have been organizing some lapping events at Shannonville Race Course (near Kingston ON). We have had two events so far with great turnouts running a few of the different track configurations.

I am not here to make any profits, I just want to make our track time
cheaper and thus open our scheduled sessions to anyone who wishes to
participate.

Shannonville is a nice safe track to run as there are plenty of run-off areas.
If you want an economical track session at a fun track this is for you.

Here are the details....

Dates: June 6th & 27th, July 4th & 25th, August 1st & 22nd (all Sunday
evenings). The track is booked for 2 hours, I usually run my car on-track for about 1 hour 15-20mins (this various from person to person). We start at 6:30 p.m. till 8:30pm

Cost: Depends on the number of people. We are not looking to make any
profit so we will split the cost however many ways. Usually we have between 10-15 cars. Track total cost is $600 so you do the math. If we have a lot of interest we option in to take the long Pro-Track on occasion (this doubles the cost). No up-front payments, just bring cash to
the track.

Layout: We have the Fabi track reserved. For more
info check http://www.shannonville.com

Basic Rules:

Keep in mind that most of us use our cars as daily drivers and we are all
going to drive our cars home. This is a friendly lapping session, not
racing. You can call it "aggressive" chasing not racing. We have had a lot of fun
without any incidents.

There will be no corner workers or emergency response team, so everyone
must drive within their limits. It is not a competition and we all want to
sit down for a beer afterwards.

We are mostly MINIs and BMWs that come out but it is open to all types of cars. We have
a max of 14 cars per session (24 if we do the Pro-Track)

Drop me an email at amit@btqfuzz.com and let me know which dates you can
attend, and you'll be on the list. This is a great way to meet a bunch of
car nuts like yourself. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any
questions you may have.

Thanks

Amit
