Hi Everyone!

I just signed up onto this mini site 5 mins ago

. I am super new to this vechile as it has never came upon my head when buying cars.

Anyways, my friend is selling his Mini Cooper S. It is a base model, with no sunroof, no auto climate control etc...Just the Cooper S base. The car is model year '03 with 4500km on it. It is 163HPS super charge.

Would you guys be able to recommend what is a reasonable price or a "great deal" for this car? I know the '05 is coming out in a few months, this may depreciate the value of the car even more.

Any advice or opinions would be great.

Why is he selling a car with so few km on it?

Word to the wise though.... rampant depreciation has not been a hallmark of MINIs.

well a new base cooper s is like 29k...i've seen used ones go for like 27k...it won't drop in value with that low km's..only if it had a accident.

are there any options at all on it? I would offer him 25K if he is desperate to sell!

What colour is it? not that it makes a price difference... just some colours may have a harder time finding buyers.

Agreed. I would also have to say $25k. Any more and you could get a used 2004 with similar mileage.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your comments! Well, the car has not accidents as well. It is actually in pretty good condition. The color is the greyish metallic (sorry not good with colors). Also, the car is the CooperS base, it does not have climate control or any sorts of options.
