Looking for snow tires

Hey guys. I live in Toronto I want to get a set of snow tires for the Mini. I am looking to just get some steel rims with 195/60-15 snow tires. Any recommendations? Also, anyone know where to get steels rims that fit the Mini?

Thanks

I believe the dealer sells a winter package of steel wheels, covers and Pirelli 190 Snow Control winter tires for around $1,000. These are however in the stock MC size of 175/65R15, though a narrow tire is better for snow & ice.
I have had a good experience dealing with the Tire Rack for a winter tire/wheel package in the past, you may want to check them out, with our dollar currently trading relatively high vs. the US dollar a set should be had for less than $1K.

An inexpensive option - buy genuine MINI steel rims at the dealer (not expensive! -$70 each approx last year). Bring them to Canadian Tire for some nice Michelin Alpins (they come on sale regularly at this time of year) .
