Anyone store their Mini for the winter cause they cant stand to see the car covered in slush and salt?

Yes, I'm storing my baby in a garage any moment now as the norwegian winters are rough. I will take her for a spin on dry days, but I'm keeping the summer tires on.
The money I save lowering the milage pr year actually covers the insurance for my winter car

This is my first winter for the Cooper - I washed it on Thanksgiving day, and sadly have not driven it since.
We had 12" of snow over a 3 day period and it's hanging around making the streets ugly and the cars uglier.
It is not my intent to store the car for winter, but at the moment it is not my daily driver, as I drive my Employer's car. Makes me sad to think about not driving it again until Spring, but at the moment the gross state of the roads keeps it in the garage.
