Offline | XM radio coming to canada http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/a.../21/c3279.html Looks like a company called canadian satellite radio is importing XM broadcast to canada. I had read somewhere XM had less sat coverage and needed more repeaters than sirius, maybe they'll be limited to major cities Anyway this is not good news I had made up my mind and was ready to get a sirius plug-in unit. Darn. |

Offline | Few trucker buddies have been using XM radio for a few years now and they have no problem with reception anywhere in Canada.In the states they can be bought at most Walmarts and you pay for 1 or 2yrs service in advance ,usually works out to about $9 per month.Cant wait to get my hands on one when they come to Canada,wonder what the monthly charge will be? |
