Man .... this is just sad .... I guess this is what happens when there are just not enough MNI dealerships in competition around your area. But I think here in Southern Ontario is a whole different story. we have about 4-5 mini dealership about 20-30 minutes away from one another. so if something like this happens to me, then I'll simply walk away from one dealership and into the other.

Canada third service manager in 3 years

Mini Mont-Royal is tightly linked to Canbec. From day one, I had issues with them.

This week, I had a failure on the car. I phoned BMW 800 service and after a 20 minute wait ( and they do not even have music, but our call is important to them ) I decided to phone Canbec. They arrange for a float to pick up the car. They had it repaired within a day. Great.

But..
I had to pay 104 $ for the towing and eventually, in 4 to 6 weeks, I will get my money back. Canbec insisted that it is a BMW rule and they cannot get the money themselves.

I later phoned BMW and they said it was not so. Canbec could have paid the towing and claim it themselves from BMW. So they lied to me.

And to top it off, I had to wait 20 minutes to get to a service rep to pick up the car. And then I waited an extra 20 minutes because they were washing the car. When I got the car, I showed them the bad wash they did and told them to fire the washer. The car was sprayed with water, but nothing else.On the front and back screens, you could very well see the wiper marks. This is not a wash.

This is the last time I visit Canbec. I will try Brossard Mini next time. They might not be any better, but I doubt it is possible to top Canbec for bad customer relationship.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be!
