| Aussie in Winnipeg - need local advice! Hi my Canuck friends, I lived in Winnipeg for all of 2003 and had an absolutely phat time - spent too much time at the Palomino and Empire. Got bloody cold and was sad to leave!  But never fear! I'm returning for a limited time!!! I'll be in town from 14 Jul - 18 Jul for a friend's wedding... Would be love to find out how mini's fare on Canada's worst roads and craziest weather... Are there many winnipegger mini drivers out there that would like to catch up?? | Hi mate ,I was starting to loose faith - owing to the tumbleweeds and the sounds of crickets in this thread! Always thought Canucks were the most hospitable of people...so was a bit surprised... I'm not sure where i'm staying yet....good chance I'll be staying with a friend out in St. James... Are there any mini roads in manitoba? or are they all straight and long and fade into the distance....? Anyway...there's rumours another aussie may be on his way up there soon (a bit more perminantly)...but that can stay under wraps until it is confirmed... do you prairie dwellers ever get together?  |

| Hey any 'peggers out there.... Can you reccomend any good mini after-market parts dealers/shops in Winnipeg? What about dealers?? I got here tonight - and we couldn't see half a car length in the crazy thunderstorm!!! |
