Well, there are some OK corners if you go up to 150km/h.... otherwise all those "corners" won't pull more than 0.4g.

Well, not my call. 1A is closer to where I live anyways.

Went on a stealth/3000gt cruise on 762 and it was great. (used to own a stealth TT, but took the MINI on the cruise)
But yeah best around 140...maybe not the best for a large cruise. I have some in car videos...I had a lot of trouble keeping up with them on the straights.

It might be the 'old guy' in me talking....but I also think we will have to put some controls in place on this cruise. Especially if we have a large group. I have seen too many accidents (some serious) on car club cruises in the past.

Suggestions...

1 - provide maps. Pick a route and stick to it.
2 - have stop points along the way where people can catch up, we can take photos, etc.
3 - organizer should cruise the route the night/day before to check for construction/road delays, etc.
4 - With a large group people WILL get left behind. Accidents will happen if these people panic and try to catch up to the group. Stay calm and just have a nice drive. You will have a map, and will be able to meet us and catch up at the rest/stop points on the cruise.
5 - Speeding....no excessive speeding. The cruise leader should stick to a slow pace.....even at a slow pace the people at the back of the cruise will struggle to keep up. If you want to drive faster stick to the back of the group. Posted speed limit along 1A is what 60? Stick to like 80 tops for that section.
6 - Any stupid sh*t and you're gone....
7 - A large cruise will attract attention from everyone.....police, etc. If someone gets pulled over ONE person should stay back with them and the rest of the cruise should continue on. If you get pulled over and there is a whole group of the same cars with you...you WILL get the book thrown at you.
8 - Radios. Bring em if you have em.

Any thoughts on this? Anything else to add....
Trust me here....with the number of cruises I have been on and organized this is a must. There is always one idiot in the group who insists that he is faster, has to pass someone, etc. etc...this is when accidents happen.

Its best to have the slower guys in front, and the faster drivers can hang back, drop back a little, drive fast for short spurts, drop back... then people won't get too spread out.

It won't be safe if everyone is trying to catch up to the faster drivers

I'm not so sure that the first meet will be big enough to worry too much about organizing everything. Anyway, I have to work all the weekends but I'm willing to take time off if you can pick the date soon.

Driving is Everything ... Anything else is just waiting around ...
