Offline | The burble in my MCSa Allright, so when I set off first thing in the morning, and exit my community, my '06 MCSa has a fairly nice pronounced burble while slowing down for the various traffic lights. However, when I'm near work and exit the major road, and slow down for traffic lights again, the burble is noticeably lighter or non-existant. It seems to sound the best when the car is cold, so to speak. Does anyone else's MCSa show this pattern also? |

| Trained Monkey | The burble on over-run is caused by excess fuel burning, so I guess when the engine is cold it's less efficient so that makes sense. I'm sure someone can explain it better though. Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |
