200 hp is easy

start with:

CAI
MTH
15% pulley

then there are lots of exhaust systems available. If you want the best bang for buck, get an OBX header and then remove the center muffler (the one on the right, funny as that sounds ). This is nicknamed a oneball catback exhaust....PM me if you want more info...

Black MCS Alta CAI, MTH, OBX + One-ball, Alta Diverter w/ Sprayer, Recalibrated BPV, Alta 17% Pulley, Denso IK22s, Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s 215/40/17, Whiteline 20mm Adjustable Rear Swaybar, Ferodo DS2500s, Motul RB600, TCE SS braided brake lines

Isn't the Aisin 6 speed only rated for about 190 HP though?

Edit: Sorry, didn't see the bit about "blow the warranty!!!!!".

I have seen one that was modded, it worked ok and the transmission did not have a problem. The problem seemed to be that you can't exceed the rev limiter in the transmission programming. The result is that since the transmission shifts before RPM related mods start to make more power, you can only see the power in top gear top speed.

A pulley kit seemed to work well, as one would expect since JCW kits are available for the MCSa in non US markets.

I have read every post on most boards dealing with the MINI Aisin transmission, and have no reports of anyone blowing up the transmission.

I thought the MTH might reprogram the rev limits. But if thats not the case would'nt the extra power come in faster therefore increasing accelation in every gear The problem here in Australia is that the JCW kit for the MCSa is not avalible.

Not there either, eh? It seems the only place that you can get a MCSa JCW is in the UK...
