Strange "jump"

My Cooper -02 with a CVT is going like a clock, except one thing!

When I take it out from the garage in the morning I start with doing some reverse driving out on the street. When on the street I ofcourse put it in D (drive) and when I do that it "jumps". Like when you have a manual transmission and you take the clutch up to quickly. The car only do this when we have it in the garage over the night. It's been like this all summer so it hasn't to do with cold climate or anything. I live in Sweden but we don't have snow in the summer!

Anyone got the same problem or heard anything like this before?

I have changed the oil in the gear box. I ordered some expensive oil from BMW in Germany. But I'm afraid it did no good.

Our '03 did it...

Our '03 CVT did the same when it was cold, not cold as in ambient temperature, but when it was first started. I suspect it had something to do with it idling higher during it's warmup cycle. But I've driven a lot of other cars with automatic (non-CVT) transmissions that did something similar when cold so we didn't worry about it.

I did a oil service on the car so it was my dealer that changed the oil.

Hi

I also have the CVT (2005 One) and mine 'jumps' as you say. It appears to do it when I first start the car and also at low speeds, under 15pmh.

I've no idea what or why this is but I'm seeing my local Mini on Sat for some mods so I'll see if they can clear it up.
