Question Real-life top speed?

As I'm in the early stage of waiting for my Cooper CVT, I was wondering what top speed have you all reached in your Cooper CVT? As I read somewhere else on this forum that the speedo reads real speed * 1.05 + 2.5mph or + 4km/h, the thing should display close to 125mph or 200km/h (115mph or 185km/h real).

The very best I've done was 114mph indicated at the braking zone to Turn 2 at Pacific Raceways (Kent, WA) on MINI R-81 15x5.5" wheels/Continental 175/65R15 tires.

I'll follow this thread. Interesting question.

I had my speed tracked by a police officer to check the accuracy of the speedo. I found that the speedo indeed varied 2-3 miles per hour.

Likewise, I've seen an indicated 115mph.

I have a pic of my speedo reading about 112, and that was fully loaded.

I've measured 190.2km/h (~118mph) with a Garmin GPS device. That was some time ago on 175/65R15. Don't know on 195/60R15 yet but shouldn't differ much.

I've seen 122MPH indicated on the digital read out on a very long open strech of highway with a 1/8 of a tank of gas and slight tail wind... So i guess take that for how ever accurate you want it to be?
