Can someone please tell me if the price of the CVT Gearbox has gone up

I have always been told its price is £980 by my dealer but when I specced a car using the MINI UK "Made to Measure" its price was £1,015.00

Am I using an out of date price list or what?? or is the MINI website wrong

I may be wrong here, but I believe it's cos the site adds the extra road tax cost cos the auto emissions are higher than the manual car's, thereby upping your excise duty

My CVT Auto was £980.00 and no extra on the road tax

The road tax for the auto is £155 because of the higher emissions. The manual is £120. I have the cvt.
