Just had my CVT replaced under warranty (1 year old) and they replaced it with a remanufactured one. Is this normal??

Most other cars that I had got new parts under warranty.

Yep, this is totally normal. I used to work for a Vauxhall parts dept. and they too will only pay for a remanufactured unit (where one is available) when they are footing the bill. Can't blame them really. The quality of remanufacture is as tight or perhaps even tighter than the new item. Your warranty is still the same regardless. Don't worry.
