Well I test drove a CVT last week for the first time and I must say I am impressed.

Amazing pick-up, although that slight hesitation from the start is something to get used to.

I hit 65 on an avenue in no time, and the car is pitch quiet.

BTW, in the 20 minute test drive i got looks from some chicks already and some "I love the car" mumblings from other motorists ... and this is around the dealership where I am sure people around there see them daily.

Mine is slated for production on 6/14 .. can't wait!

I have found that if I want to take off a little quicker at a light, on especially when taking off uphill, it helps to put the car in Sport Drive. It doesn't seem to slip as much.
