Offline | Cooper S Convertible AUTOMATIC...First One in NC OK folks...here is my first thread...and I am going to feed the fire a bit! The AUTOMATIC S CONVERTIBLE.....ROCKS! My dealership did not know it, and either did I, but the January 05 productions not only have steptonic but have paddles on the handle to shift...ABSOLUTE FUN! Forget a clutch and stick...I LOVE THE PADDLES! We are the first in NC to have this car I believe...first Automatic S on the FLOW showroom floor anyway! I have a picture of them on my bio...I cannot wait for my wife to break it in so I can see what it really has! Check out the slideshow of our day at amomentlikethis.net/mini |

Offline | Nice slideshow. I LOVE your dog. Not to be mean, but your dealership isn't very well informed if they didn't know about the paddles. Us obsessive types knew about them months ago. Nice color choice on the MINI. You sound thrilled. Happy motoring! |

Offline | Whoa--Great Slideshow! Thanks! I really like the car--looks great, nice color combo, goes well with the black roof and black bonnet stripes. And you just KNOW that Man's Best Friend is going to love hanging his head out of the window--and over the windshield--and out the back--and by standing up on the front seats to get that "in the wind" feeling canines just love. Nice choice, nice car, nice presentation. It looks like you had a great day--enjoy! (Now, don't you need a RED one, too, to make a matched set?) |

Offline | That was a suprise to me and the dealership! I ordered my mini with the premium package, which came with cruise, and radio controls on the steering wheel...that is all I thought I woudl have...but to my suprise...there the bluetooth was! Don't know exactly how it works but dealer dudes told me it was integrated through the stereo....we will soon see... Now if I could only get a phone from sprint that is decently priced which has bluetooth! They are putting one out here in the next couple months that should fit the bill. |

Offline | Bluetooth or not? Has anyone heard when the bluetooth kit for this set-up will be available and the cost? When we picked up our car they were still waiting for the info back from the factory. Apparently the current Bluetooth kit will not work with the integrated controls........you can still install the current kit, but the steering wheel controls supposedly will not work, so a new kit from Mini is needed. Cheers! ![]() |

| Car enthusiast | Great slide show! Can feel your excitement and happiness. I can now recall the moment of me picking up my MCS over a year ago. What a lovely feeling... ![]() Boston - 03 JCW MCS (S1274) - DS/B, Bonnet Stripes (Sold) HK - 05 MCS - HB/W (It's finally here!) Pix of my car http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/13158/50935.jpg |

Offline | Rear visibility is very poor Anyone who says other wise in biased, however the rear sensors work well so its easy to park. I used to own a tin top, and bought a cab last June. It's also a lot darker inside. It's not so much because of the small rear screen, but more due to the canvass covering the area where the rear side windows are on the hard top. This was needed to keep the proportions right. Having said all of that, I love the car, and have an automatic cooper s cab arriving in a few weeks. It's a small price to pay for a fantastic car.
