Offline | Just ordered my MCSa All, Just ordered my MCSa last night from Serling in Virginia. Thank you all for the great reviews on the awesome (I hope) auto w/manual paddle transmission. I could not test drive it (they don't have one, though I drove a manual S a bunch) so your reviews were of primo importance. Now I just have to wait two months - John Connor PS - I got the car blue w/black roof and racing stripes (no sunroof, don't really like them). Splurged on the blue lapis leather seats with blue dash. Looks incredible in the building your own site. Got the sports package (though I think I might want 16" over 17" tires - the dealer will switch when the car comes if I want). Got the upgraded steering wheel, auto AC and the Harmon Kardon (will install the aux in and hook up my Sirius myslelf - fits perfectly under the toggle switches, I refuse to pay $550 for the integrated Sirius + $70 a year for a second unit). I think the only other options I got was the auto-dimming rear view mirror and the much needed factory installed arm rest ($200 from the factory, $500 for the dealer to install !?!). With 3% VA tax, tags, fees etc... the whole thing came to $29k. Can't wait!!! |

| Motoring with Audrey | congrats on the new car, and I'm looking forward to hearing from you at the different stages. Won't be long now until your Motoring with the rest of us. It seems to take forever...atleast for me, but that's because I logged everything and checked as often as I could (without just talking to them (ASKMINI) 24/7. (Sidenote: It only took 45 days for me, which is really great for Central USA) |

Offline | John, If you look at the bottom of page 29 of the March 2005 Group thread you'll see that we have very similar taste! I'll post pictures as soon as I get the car, should be in about two weeks!!! I agree that the armrest situation is bizarre. Since my car was built 2/28 (the very last day that the armrest was not available installed at the factory) I had little choice but pay up. Fortunately, it was a mere $360 installed (they charged me 1 hour labor for the 15-minute job). -- Roger |

Offline | Roger, Great pic of the inside. Love it. I think that is the best paint, seat, dash combination they make. Oh, I got the center chrono too, mostly because I don't like the spedo in the middle and wanted it over the steering wheel! AprilWhine, Yeah, say the Metro DC Mini site. Probably will do some rides after I break her in. - John |
