Offline | Automatics are just like potato chips, who can stop with one? The stripped MCSa is noticeably quicker than the MCSCa. Also, without DSC, wheel chirp sneaks up on you. I really enjoy the increased headroom that the car has when the sunroof is deleted. So far, the only option that I think I might miss is the MFSW. Specifically the cruise control. ![]() |

![]() 6X therapist | On the subject of "couples with MINI's" I'd think it would have to be any pair of MINI's with or without JCW or other modifications and regardless of sexual persuasion just to avoid elitism or political correctness problems, maybe there could be a "MINI owning couples separate forum" Seriously though, you kept that quiet, it was a surprise, and a good one too, have you still got the jeep ? |

Offline | It was a bit of a surprise to us also. The bridge/tunnel was blocked by a wreck, and we could not use that route to get home after work, so we were driving around the long way home. We just stopped at the dealer to look around, and they had the S with only the automatic option. That put the S in the area of economy car as far as price. I am really happy with the extra headroom that the deletion of sunroof allows. I suppose that I can learn to turn the lights and wipers on and off manually. The things we have to put up with for economy. The price of gas influenced the decision a little bit, and Sherry wanting to drive her own car at the meets. This way she can be in the front of the pack, and I can pick up stragglers. I agree about the two MINI couples. Any MINI, and any couple. Still have the jeep for the moment, although around here changes can happen pretty rapidly. I think the bus will go up for sale in the spring. Not much point in being in denial, MINI is our second favorite hobby. ![]() |
