I visited 6 Mini dealers in So Cal when I was shopping for a new Mini S, and I found all but 2 dealers were excessivly marking up cars. There is no way I'm going to negotiate with a dealer how far above MSRP I'm going to pay. I'll pay MSRP, but nothing more.

After looking at cars, and building several cars on the MINI USA website, it became apparent that I would have to custom order a car no matter which dealer I chose.

Long Beach Mini said it would be a wait of 6 months to a year, and South Bay Mini said it would be about 4 months, so I chose South Bay.

Four months later, my car came in, and it was exaclty as I orderd, and was detailed to perfection with a full tank of gas.

I have bought 4 new vehicles in the past 3 years, and I have to say that my experience with South Bay Mini was the easiest and best new car purchase I have ever made. When it was all said and done, the cost (including tax, license, etc.) was a little less than the dealer had predicted.
