Does anyone know if East Bay Mini in CA are serious when they say they have a 11 month wait on their '06 MCS orders??? Thanks!!!

That is probably correct. Since they are the only dealership in the bay area selling at MSRP this does not suprise me. Good people!

Hey Thanks JaridP!! I'm probably going to hold off until next summer when they do away with the mark-up to get rid of their '06 models on the lot. All I want is a bare bones manual MCS that's in dark silver with white roofs, mirrors and bonnet stripes. This external set-up seems to be pretty popular in the dealerships I've visited. Chances are I would find one that looks like that but with added packages. I really don't mind paying for them as long as they don't have a mark-up.

East Bay MINI doesn't mark up their cars ... that's why they have a long waiting list

As stated above, it is that long of a wait. I'd look at buying from Classic MINI in OH or even MINI of the Hamptons if you're looking to pay MSRP and not have too long of a wait.

You can pay through the nose and get horrible service at Niello MINI if that's what you're into... You never know these days... What ever floats your boat

Also most dealers have nicely equipped demos. No reason to have a strippie demo when you want to show off as many options as possible!
