Wales Mini Sales Executive (thats me) (Newbie)

hi everyone

I have just landed the job at Trainer BMW in Swansea as their Sales Executive for MINI !!! I don't know what everyones feeling are on this branch in swansea. But i garantee i aint like any other salesman who worked here before! All i ask is that you give me a chance and not tarnish me with the same brush as you do other sales people! Iam willing to listen to what people want.

Hello, well welcome to MINI2. You've made a very good move. This is where you'll find out about any new MINI models and updates to specs long before BMW deem it necessary to tell you

This means you'll be one of the only salesmen who will be able to answer customers questions about updates they've read here or in the motoring press.

You should encourage all the other staff to use this forum too and you will have the most informed dealership in the country.

It was acceptable in the 80's

This is what i want to achieve, even if i help out with questions with other dealers, iam the only sales executive in the showroom execpt my Manager who is a self confessed Mini 2'er too. Iam really excited about this Works GP as we have two on order for the owner which i will use as my demonstrater! Iam really gonna hate these drives home every night with that one.

Well any questions fire away!!!!

Graham

Grasum,

Hope you're getting on well in your new job and settling in ok! Have you done Fast Track yet?!?!

Yes, I'm a fellow MINI Employee - Business Manager in Brighton, and have been a member of MINI2 since not long after launch of MINI and find it very entertaining and informative!!! I've been with MINI since March 2001 (about 4 months before launch) and have watched it grow into the success that is today - and it just keeps getting better!!!

Good luck getting your hands on the GP though - from what I've heard, it's earmarked for DP's and MINI Managers (Sales; not Business!!!)!!!! Silly really, as we're the ones trying to sell them, eh............

Hope you have a long and happy time with MINI and wish you all the best.
