Derek Woodman

I've noticed that since Anthony Jones at Derek Woodman has been on the scene in the MINI dept an already good dealer (thanks Deej ) has become a great dealer.

I have recently had some stuff done on my MCS and he has gone out of his way to be helpful.

Even if you're not that local to them (as they're in Blackpool) I would say it's well worth making the trip if you want your MINI looked after - maybe enjoy the tackiness of the Golden Mile while they work on it

They're also a M2 sponsor now so are keen to do business with people .

Anthony is a top fella, we've swapped a few PM's and e-mails, he is very much up for supporting MINI2 users with great deals, Group Buys, best prices, and excellent service

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?

Derek Woodman fitted my sound kit yesterday. Anthony and Chris were very professional which is something I thought I'd never find at a BMW/MINI dealer. Anthony was crossing the car park as I pulled in and knew exactly who I was before I got out of the car. Both guys very freindly and their team did a spot on job with the kit. Chris managed to get hold of some skirts and sill covers and a few other bits within 24 hours. At this moment in time can't recommend them highly enough. Cheers guys.

Seem excellent service so far!

Superb launch party

Went to Derek Woodman's launch party for their new showrooms last night - it was impeccable. They had cordoned off an area in the B&Q car park nearby and asked people to park there as they were expecting quite a few people to turn up. At the car park they had a fleet of around 30 BMW's ferrying everyone across to the showrooms - no waiting, it was one car after the other.

They had two receptions going on - at the MINI reception they had a steel band playing, a coconut shy, lots of drinks and some great food . At the BMW reception they had more nibbles, drinks etc and people on stage from the Funny Girls cabaret show which always get great reviews. Lovely Roller in the corner too. There was a live link from the BMW showroom to the MINI showroom.

Oh and GP no 0215 (I think ) was there.

Derek Woodman gave a presentation on the history of his company accompanied by a slide show. Rounded off at the end by a truly spectacular fireworks finale.

Two things really stood out for me:

1. The attention to detail - very well organised.
2. Seeing the CEO of the company still taking an active interest in it and still very much focussed on customer care.

I'll post some camera-phone pics up later.

Well done to Anthony/Darren/Dave who I had brief chats with last night and all at Woodman's.

i was also at the opening night, . Was a very enjoyable evening and was very impressed with the amount of effort that went into it. Always found the service there to be very good weather it was just a question i wanted answering or if my car had a fault.

Just want to thank the team at Woodmans for exellent service over the last few weeks whilst my new Cooper has been on order. Thanks to Chris for the great prices on parts/accessories, Antony and his team for fitting them all. A special award for patience must go to Alison for putting up with me during the early stages when my spec changed daily, and for working out what must have been a dozen different finance packages. Took delivery of my PW/B Cooper Works on Wednesday night just three weeks from placing the order.

Am very happy with everything so far, and from past experience have every confidence that when she goes back in my car will be in the best hands.

Just the small matter of paying for it now . Cheers Guys.

Smile ***** Its That Good!

Just been up to collect my MCS, had couple of bits done, but the best part of all was the fact they fixed fault under a good will guesture which my local dealer wanted to charge for. Really excellent service by Anthony & Chris.

Can safely say that I would give them a 5* rating for customer service. Bye bye local dealer, hello Woodmans!

Keep up the good work guys.

Ian
