Angry BMW Lind Maidstone & Mini Emergency Care - What an issue!

Anyone had any issues for hire cars under warranty?

I would reconsider using BMW again!

My mini one was picked up on warranty after a 'track rod end went out' It was advised to me by a mechanic that the car was unroad worthy which the service did not pick up a month or so earlier.

I contacted mini emergency care who stated a hire car would be with me but I had to go pick it up. During that phone call my date of birth and age was confirmed which is the real issue.

A car was allocated to me. I turned up at Lind and no car was present. I then spent all evening on the phone to enterprise cars, which Lind should have done to obtain a hire car delivered to me. I was then lied to a told the Maidstone Branch was busy and they were waiting to get hold of a operator. Later after a bunch of lies I was told no one was even to be in the office until the Sunday afternoon.

The only way I could get a car would be to go to Dartford. I believe that is a car is under warranty then it is the manufacturers fault and not of my own. As of which the service is poor and unreasonable. all be it I had already driven to Lind once that day and couldn't even have a drink when England were playing that afternoon.

It took them until Sunday when I was told I would receive a car that my age would now be an issue. You have to be over the age of 21 and my insurnace company was closed on Sundays. Now by Sunday afternoon I have to arrange a form of transport to London and drive about all day on £35 of taxi fares. Not possible!

This would not be a major issue but why lie to me and have so much confusion for 3days.

I am persuing the issue at the moment and attempting to claim back expenses for the few days without the car.

Sorry for the length but its 3days worth of problems!
Anyone have any similar experiences with such poor custom help and inability to know what happens when no one at BMW knows whats going one!

Any feedback maybe useful when looking to take this further!

Thanks

Why post the same post 3 times in the space of 5 minutes?
I take it that everything is now OK?
Oi mods, this needs closing!
