Offline | How much does yours charge per hour? How much does your dealer charge for an hours labour? Ive just booked my car in for aero skirts fitting and the price is only really being made expensive because of the hours labour rate. They charge £115 per hour (and thats in beds/herts) Methinks the TLC deal is good, when you consider that! How much does yours charge per hour and where abouts are you? |

| Remember | you will find that there are different rates even at the same dealership, there can be a sales rate, a service rate etc... Sale rates are generally a bit lower as they used to encourage people buying a new car to buy more dealer fit items, these too can be lowered more if you push for it ![]() I think my dealer rates are £80 an hour if you book in with service, but if you were buying a new car you could be paying down to about £50 an hour. I know which rate I generally tend to pay, as I am always possibly in the market for buying a new MINI ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | Would you be talking about Stratstone Tring by any chance supa ?. Thats where i bought mine from, and they apparently charge the highest labour rate of any MINI dealer outside London , so i've been told. |

Offline | They are just a 2 minute drive from where i live Jackie. Having bought my first MINI there in 2003, i was so disapointed with the service they gave me, that i haven't set foot in the place since 3/9/03, the day i picked the MINI up. |

Offline | I thought it might be in your territory HA! I used their Temple Fortune branch until it closed recently. I was very very happy with them and infact was shocked at how good they were especially after a fair few bad experiences at Hexagons service department (not the sales side as they were faultless!). |

Offline | A weekend in Blackpool + new spot lights might be cheaper then Minnie .On the MINI UK website it says, that the spots cost £145 + 2.25 hours labour. So there is a possibility you were speaking to the village idiot in Scotthall's . Remember that a dealer is only as good as the people who work in it, and just because they are part of the same group doesn't mean they will treat you the same . |

Offline | I don't think there is anything wrong with the sales team in there HA, far from it. They are looking after me very well The sales team have no control over what their Director sets the labour charge at. I do hear tales about Mini Park Lane right here in London being even more expensive per hour if that is at all possible. They charge £175 an hour ![]() |

Offline | My local (Elvet Mini outside Durham) are a fuuny bunch with pricing. When I bought a pair of cooper S side skirts and asked how much to fit they said £140 (did the job myself for £10), but when I went in and said how much for aero skirts painted and fitted they said £400. Seems a little disproportionate in pricing to me!? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Scotthall Borehamwood cost £134 per hour. ![]() However after speaking to Watford, it seems they know much more about TLC XL pack than Borehamwood, as all they kept doing was passing me from one person to another person. But at Watford, someone there knew most things about the pack and was very informative so I will now be buying the pack from them. ![]() ![]() |
