For those of you unhappy with the information you are receiving from your dealers, phone Scott at BMW Australia on (03) 9264 4028 and he'll be more than happy to answer your questions about your pending Mini order.

He has been very helpful getting information for me about my build date, options etc.

If you phone Mini/BMW Australia on their normal number and ask to speak to someone about your Mini order, the first question they ask you is if you have put your question to your dealer. If you are stupid enough to say "no", they put you on hold, and next thing you know you are talking to your dealer!

If you ring up and ask to speak to Scott, they'll usually put you straight through. I dunno about other people, but I prefer to receive information from as close to the source as possible, rather than through a number of different pathways, where the message invariably gets garbled.

Dark silver Cooper S with black roof, silver R85's, DSC, climate control, alarm, MFSW/cruise control, sunroof, gravity leather (panther black), xenon, park distance control, interior light package.
