Best Dealer in the North East of England

Can anyone tell me the best dealer they have found in the North East of England. Bought my IB/B MCS in June 04 from Preston Hall and am looking to change to an R56 MCS asap.

I am now coming to spec it and seem to be the one doing all the chasing with regards to colours and options available (Lightening Blue, Comfort Access not available etc etc)

I paid a £500 deposit in August and they have told me I will get the car in first week in December, but because of the service I have been getting I rang Elvet in Durham. They have told me they could have one delivered week commencing 20/11.

I feel like I have been, well how can I put it, done over

Hi Davey

This might be better placed in the 'Dealership Feeback' forum. However there's a thread about Preston Hall here, let's just say I wouldn't deal with them again, and bought my MOC from Elvet in March, I dealt with Simon

Good luck speccing your new MINI

I like Elvet too, only used service department though - but never any problems. From personal experience, for sales I would have to say Fawdingtons in Newcastle - Emma is excellent

Thanks for the advice, its starting to sour the experience of buying my second MINI.

Preston Hall are still saying Comfort Access isn't available

I have had excellent dealings with both Williams Bolton (sales) & Scotthall's Leeds (service)

I use Elvet, I was actually there today with regards a warranty issue. They promised to call me when the BMW engineer came to the dealership and they were good to their word.

Please to say that Marc at Preston Hall has really come up trumps in the last few days after a gentle nudge from me on Wednesday.

Elvet Mini all the way. Dealt with Simon and Dan, very laid back and honest sellers. Managed to get my Hyper Blue Cooper to me just two days after the colour was officially announced as available on non S models! The servicing/ Faults and fixes end is also very positive and supporting
