our great experience at Mini of Peabody in MA

This is my first post, and it has to be done for praising Mini of Peabody in Peabody, MA. They are just amazing!

We live in CT and actually went to New Country Mini in Hartford, CT to see if we can buy a mini on the lot. Just don't want to wait. Nobody even came to say hi to us, may be because they are busy, or may be because we are young Chinese couple and don't look like we can afford a mini.

So I read the threads in mini2 forum and found MOP has lots of positive feedbacks and decided to shoot them an email. After their quick response I called Brig up and found they have a 06 silver base model that we were looking for.

However after getting there my wife did not like the cloth seats and found a 05 yellow mini in the showroom was even prettier. Then we decided to buy this one.

The whole process was smooth...Before we went there I carefully read carbuyingtips.com for dealer tricks etc but MOP use none of them, NONE! We were still cautious and asked questions after questions, about warranty, repair history... It was 3 or 4PM in the afternoon, Brig hadn't had lunch yet, he was hungry and tired but still managed to be patient with us.

Vinny is very nice and helpful. I did bring a CapitalOne blank check but that can be used on new car only. Vinny helped me on the finance and got us a rate that is lower than CapitalOne used car rate.

Days later we took the car back and we just love it. I recommended this dealership to my friends who are considering a mini.

One thing to your attentions tho. They installed the Aux input on the inside of the left pillar below the switches, not inside the glove box as the mini website says. This means they will drill holes on the pillar. You will have to unplug your mp3 if you park you mini in a not-so-nice neighborhood, not just hide it in the glove box. If you plan to install an aux input there, make sure this is the place you want it to be mounted.

Overall we are very happy with MOP, giving if 9 out of 10 ratting.

Thanks for reading the long thread and please forgive my crapy English.
