Coopers price seems about right, in fact I just phoned Cooper Sevenoaks they charge £135.36ph inc Vat on cars under 4 years old and then £116.33ph over 4 years old. So the quote from Coopers is correct.

I have told them the price is excessive and I can get it cheaper from Coopers but they won't budge on price, even with the fact I will be giving them 17k to pick up the new car at the same time! Really disappointed TBH and unfortunately reflects Barretts arrogance with all their franchises (I own a Jag and have been more than unhappy with their Jag dealership and just changed to Guy Salmon at Maidstone who were head and shoulders above them!)

I have asked them to quote me on the lights, check mirrors and chrome filler cap which coopers have quoted me £523 for everything but as I have waited 2 weeks for them just to get back to me on the spotlight price I am not holding my breath

I have always used Coopers Sevenoaks, well for the last 6 years and have always found them to be very good. So I should imagine all the Cooper group have the same work ethic.

I definitely would not give Barrett's any more money if that is their attitude. I can't imagine their after sales service is particularly good, they sound like the sort of dealer that once they have got your deposit aren't really interested.

I agree only thing is my wife is really looking forward to icking up the new car and it is a pain having to then take it to another garage to get the extras added when it could all be done before we pick the car up! Having said that if they don't come down on the price then they can swing for it!!!!

Just got an email to confirm that they will match coopers price (I think primarily down to the sales lady chasing up the parts/service manager to ask them to bring the price down so good on her!!!!) At least when she gets the car it will be exactly as she wanted and wont have to wait for the extra bits to be fitted so alls well that ends well!
