Texas Dealerships Q

I'm looking to buy my first MINI, and I'm hoping to get a good deal on a new 2006 as the 2007s start rolling in. I"ve checked the inventories at each of the Texas MINI dealerships (I'm in Austin), so now my concern is whether I should avoid any of them.

In particular, MINI of the Woodlands in Houston has some genius prices, but the specs concern me. Are they trustworthy? I'd like to know more about them before I drive out there.

All help apreciated. Thanks!

Kristin

Well, I have an answer: through no fault of the dealership, Woodlands had a bunch of MCs marked S, so that's what looked suspicious. The dealer even showed us the long e-mail chain started last month to fix the problem.

Anyway, he did have genius prices that Momentum was unable to beat, and quite honestly I think I'll be happier with my new MC--that I've named Rocket J, after the flying squirrel in Rocky and Bullwinkle.

The dealer at Momentum was really nice, but the dealer at Woodlands dropped an extra $300 off MSRP for me for a total of $1000 off, and then he also threw in some floormats. I need to find a dealer rating site and give him a high rating. Totally satisfied here!

I also recommend Mini of the Woodlands because I think that they have better deals and Much better service/attitude than at Momentum.
