I just wanted to post a bit of praise and thanks to Bowker Mini at Blackburn.

They had my Cooper S in for a fairly substantial amount of work this week (new gearbox, steering column, brakes and ABS sensors) and I cannot find a single fault with their service.

They always returned my calls, phoned to keep me updated and have clearly taken a great deal of care of my pride and joy - and, all important, finished it when they said they would and booked me in very quickly. They also provided me with a new Cooper while it was being worked on.

So - a huge thumbs up from me!!

A little update on Bowker, since due to my Mini's many faults, I no longer even need to give my name when I go to the service desk.

I still continue to recommend Bowker to anyone - today on noticing I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the car they really went out of their way to help by arranging for the car to be delivered back to me and they continue to always keep me updated.

2 and a 1/2 years into my cars warranty, probably 4 or 5000 pounds worth of warranty work and they still get a thumbs up!

cant see why a dealership wound'nt do warranty work. Surely they claim the cost from BMW? Plus a margin.

I have dealt with Bowker Blackburn since 2001, I have to say they were rubbish at first and seemed to treat MINI owners like the poor relations . I had to get MINI involved in the end but I've bought two others since then and their service gets better all the time. I've nothing but praise for them now.

Just like to say that Bowker were brilliant when i bought my Dooper... I have always had my services done by them which were spot on but never dealt with the Sales team - 10/10!!
