A little update on Bowker, since due to my Mini's many faults, I no longer even need to give my name when I go to the service desk.
I still continue to recommend Bowker to anyone - today on noticing I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the car they really went out of their way to help by arranging for the car to be delivered back to me and they continue to always keep me updated.
2 and a 1/2 years into my cars warranty, probably 4 or 5000 pounds worth of warranty work and they still get a thumbs up!
