I paid MSRP for my MCS at Patrick MINI in Schaumburg (Chicago).

Only dead fish swim with the current 100% of the time.

On a clear, hot summer night, you can hear a Ford rust.

Since there are lots out there...

I'd go to my (more or less) local dealers and simply offer MSRP, and cite five other places where you can get the same offer.

I'd insist with the sales rep that I wanted to make a written offer specifying the exact car you want with the MSRP off the website.. If he does not want to cooperate, I'd fax a offer directly to the sales manager to make sure he or she is aware of your offer. Be prepared to follow through on ordering from elsewhere if necessary.

One caution, since the factory options mean more profit to the dealer, I would bet this would work better will a fully optioned car as opposed to a "stripper".

Good luck

Thumbs up Lauderdale MINI sells strictly at MSRP!

Lauderdale MINI in Ft Lauderdale, FL is the only MINI dealer in South Florida that is currently selling strictly at MSRP. No hidden fees, no dealer add ons, no mandatory packages, no nonsense, just MSRP list pricing.

The only charge a $299 (Non-negotiable) new car prep fee which is also the lowest among the other 2 Miami MINI dealers.

Don't waste your time and money with either South Motors MINI or Braman Motors in Miami. Both of these dealers are crooks and charge in excess of $2000 worth of mandatory dealer installed accessories plus horrible sales service.

At Lauderdale MINI you can contact Larry Bonito and Crystal Neagle. These folks are terrific, extremely knowledgable about the product, professional, corteous and very upfront in all aspects of the buying transaction.

Good luck.

East Bay MINI in Pleasanton Calif.
San Francisco Bay area.

Long way from Florida, but they are part of the Hendrick dealership group which I believe is based in the Southeast.

They have been excellent. Give em a call & see if they have another MINI dealership closer to you!

If not.....well.....you could have one hell of a roadtrip in your new MINI

Life is short! Why drive a boring car?!

Indi blue/white Cooper;Sport & Premium packages.

International MINI in Milwaukee

We sell at MSRP with minimal add-ons. Usually just bonnet stripes and/or floor mats.

Snow creates a chemical imbalance in most peoples brains that makes them forget how to drive.

Dear Btsave:

Right here in NJ, my local dealer, Princeton MINI, sells for MSRP and no markups. They did put floormats in at the last minute and asked for about $90 for them, but when I said no thanks they charged $0 and left the mats in.
