Offline | Hats off to Sytner Leicester, especially James Mowforth and Alex Bryan. My car broke down last week with a head gasket failure and was recovered to Sytner Leicester for its 7th warranty repair in 9 months. I complained to James and explained I have now lost confidence in the car. James has agreed to replace the vehicle as a goodwill gesture and for the last 3 days he and Alex have been searching for an appropriate replacement vehicle in the Sytner stock. I think this is probably the best customer service I could have expected to recieve in the circumstances, and I'll definitely buy another car from them when the time comes, and happily recommend them to friends and family. I'll update you when I have found my new car!! |

Offline | Yet more positive feedback for Sytner Leicester! a parcel arrived in the post yesterday with the Sytner postmark on it, opened it up to find a framed picture of my new car. Nice touch guys! I think the new year will be time to change the Alfa for a Clubman, and its pretty obvious who is going to be getting my business! keep up the good work! |

Offline | Customer service top notch! I recently sent this to BMW: "I would like to compliment you on the quite outstanding customer experience I enjoyed at Sytner Leicester on 5 Dec 07. My Cooper S had developed an emission warning light and I wished to get this attended to asap. Having phoned Sytner on the Monday I was dealt with courteously and efficiently and booked in at 09.45 Wednesday for an approximate 2 hour slot to investigate. (This was a distinct improvement on Wollaston Northampton who although helpful and courteous, required the car to be left with them for the day). On arrival at Sytner (very impressive premises where you drive in under cover) I was immediately greeted, relieved of the car & keys by the technical staff and escorted by Lisa Farmer who dealt with the admin side. I had several other queries regarding servicing etc and these were all answered in a very knowledgeable and business-like way to my satisfaction. I was then offered a lift to the local retail park and informed that I would be called in due course. I was called approx 90 mins later to say that the car had been fixed and asked to nominate when I would like to be collected - this I did and was collected by Nigel who had delivered me on the first run. Again, another knowledgeable staff member who did all he could to ensure my satisfaction. While away, I received a courtesy call from the Sales dept which I was very happy to accept because of the groundwork put in by the tech people - so teamwork does have benefits! On return to collect the car (which had been nicely washed for a nominal fee) Lisa explained the work that had been done and ensured all was in order. I did also visit the spares counter to enquire about an updated satnav DVD where again I was dealt with very helpfully - it was also apparent from a few other staff that I encountered that there is an emphasis on looking after the customer. I can only say that the whole thing impressed me greatly and that I shall return for my future needs. I do appreciate that service like this does not happen by accident, that the system has been carefully thought out and very evidently, staff training is of the highest order. Well done BMW and Sytner." Maybe this is what we should always expect but how often does it happen? |

Offline | So far so good! And one nice touch is that you can see most of the bays so chances are you'll be able to watch your MINI being worked on. I'm a big fan of this, I know the technicians at our place are a lot more careful if they are being watched ![]() |

Offline | Ok, so slightly different from me! I took my MCS to sytners as I am at uni in leicester for an MOT instead of going to Coopers in Cobham (at home) because of the good reviews. Don't get me wrong, it was very space age and fancy, with the 'drive thru' style service entrance and the staff were very helpful. But I asked them if there was someone there who could change the cigarette lighter fuse for me as i was unable to pull it out myself they obliged. Checked my bill when I got home - they had charged me almost £8.00 for the privelige and hadn't even told me!! I know obviously they'll try and extract money from you wherever they can - they charged me £135 for a new runflat as well, the last one i bought from a local tyre place at home was only £70! But please! I think next time i'll just get someone local to do the job! |
