Offline | I do not know about the rest of the Motoring Advisors but Peter Braun, who I am lucky to have been doing my business through, has done a fantastic job. He's always answered every email I've sent, every question I've asked and returned every phone call (and beleive me I am a pain in the butt). MINI of Fairfield County sells at MSRP, offers all the extras but forces NONE of them. The day my order went to the factory Peter emailed me to tell me the good news and even went as far as assisting me in registering in the owners lounge on MINIUSA. So far my satifaction rating is a solid 100%. Last edited by GMINI03 : Sep 10th, 2002 at 09:31 PM. |

Offline | I must agree with GMINI03. Peter Braun has done a fabulous job in helping me get everything right on my order. If I had a question that he could not answer he would find out the answer and get back in touch. He has made it a very positive experience. Thanx! P.S. Getting restless.....can't wait!!!!! Offline | OK. What's going on here???? I've dealt with Nick Defulvio and he's been a particularly good salesperson. Though I will never forgive him for sending my order before allowing me to confirm/change it. ![]() I give a hardy thumbs up to M o'F and I am especially glad to see members have bought from there with satisfaction. Oh. and GMINI03. You better not look like me, only 3" taller. Like your color choice. And BilboB- Looks like we may be delivered on the same day. Need a ride? Offline | Talked to Nick today and he indicated that my MCS could arrive today, Sat or Monday. Gawd, it just makes it worse knowing that it is that close. Motor on, Dudes and Dudettes!!! '06 MCS SB/S '02 MCS DS/W (retired) |

Offline | WTF I talked to Nick and "Tom" yesterday just trying to get them to tell me my car will NOT be deliverable Monday or Tuesday. How can I enjoy a three day furlong if I am imagining my MINI waiting for me, getting dinged in MoF's teensie parking lot? I will not even go away if there is even an outside chance. And I will not regret it if it is presentable on Wednesday after all. How is it that my MINI seems to be sitting with work papers in VPC far longer than my fellow AIDAites? What ran into my MINI? I appreciate the extra care and all. But lets see if our good dealiership can give an answer today. |

Offline | It's late Sunday night, still no call. Drove by the dealer today, in the pouring rain I might add, and did NOT see it in the yard. Maybe it is over at the BMW dealership.....I hope, I hope, I hope...... I talked to Nick the other day and he said that they have ordered a roof rack for me. Should be in very soon. Ready to pick-up by Sat......or so he says. The waiting is getting unbearable! Motor on, Dudes and Dudettes!!! '06 MCS SB/S '02 MCS DS/W (retired) |

Offline | I too am getting DS/w and would LOVE to see your roof rack. I bet it looks swellerific! I myself am still debating whether or not to get the roof pierced. That rack sure looks fine... I'll wait til snowboard season to make the cut or not. No way am I delaying my delivery one minute more. Quite a testament to the depth of your patience. |

Offline | Re: Roof Rack!!!!! I'll try and get some pictures for you. I'll keep you posted on how I feel about the finished product. Trust me. The time really does fly if you just sort of try and forget about it. Easier said than done, I know. ![]() Motor on, Dudes and Dudettes!!! '06 MCS SB/S '02 MCS DS/W (retired) |

Offline | The wait is OVER !!!!! Picked up my new DS/W MCS. The experience at MINI of Fairfield has to rank as one of the most pleasant trips to a car dealership that I have ever had. The people were all pleasant and everything was as promised. No, runs, no hits no errors. The mounting of the factory roof rack looks spot on! The quality of the rake is top shelf. On the drive home the rack was very quiet, could not hear it even at highway speeds, and ya gotta believe when you just picked up a new car your ears are extra sensitive. Trying to hear anything that might be out of whack. What is "whack" anyway? My sales representitive, Peter Braun, made the whole experience a delight. He is one of the most knowledgable Mini, and MINI, people I have had the pleasure to meet. Tried some cury roads, tried some highway.....WOW!!!!!!! This is a great car. The ECU upgrade sure takes care of the low speed stalling and stumbling that was causing some of the earlier cars and owners so much grief. Felt totally different fromthe MCS that I test drove. PROBLEM SOLVED !!!! Well, time to go back out and sit in my MINI. ![]() Motor on, Dudes and Dudettes!!! '06 MCS SB/S '02 MCS DS/W (retired) |
