Offline | Derek Woodmans of Blackpool are brilliant. I'll recommend them to anybody. Wont bore you with the story and the problems I've had with Bowkers (preston). But comparing the both dealers (friendliness, sales, customer service, after sales), DW are excellent! |

| I am not a number!! | I can beat that, I brought my GP from them and I am 240 miles away from them, and we pick up our new R56 this Saturday from them, and any future MINI's will be brought from them ![]() They are the best dealership in the UK IMO ![]() Its only a forum you know! ![]() |

Offline | Also found WOODMANS to be excellent. Whether you want to buy, get quality service, or discount on official parts - these are the boys (and Alison too!) |

Online | Yep - got to jump in and give Woodman's some praise!! All my experiences have been with parts, but as others have said, the whole dealership comes recommended! They have fitted my aero kit, cooper s fuel cap and aero spoiler, each time the job was spot on, and Chris really does work hard to get you the best possible prices! The best thing came when they got all four of my alloys replaced under warranty, which my local dealer had claimed was impossible. Instead telling me "We have never seen these wheels before Sir, they must not be genuine MINI wheels" Despite me showing them to him in the MINI accesory brochure he then went on to say "They are too shiny" Yes you tool, they are POLISHED wheels!!. (Bateman MINI if anyone cares.)The ONLY thing I wish they did was courtesy cars for younger drivers, sometimes it can be a pain waiting around. My local dealer provides me with one, but hey I'd rather my car received the best service for miles around. Keep up the good work guys!! ![]() Regards, James. |

Online | Oh and forgot to say........... BIG THANKS for the events you put on like the GWR run which was fantastic and the Illuminations events (even though I was too ill to make that one!) Also the fact that people like Alison and Dave open up early and let us use the dealership for the like of the Lancashire Lanes runs deserves a lot of commendation. |

Offline | Surely they must be getting tired of all this praise by now! ![]() I have to agree - they are leagues ahead of any dealership that I know. You feel like a friend rather than a customer when you go in there, I think I go in so often they are considering getting me my own desk - and yes, special mention must be made of the fact that they have supported the Lancashire Lanes runs by opening up early, helping with photocopying, registering, parking etc etc. Don't forget Lancs Lanes 3 - start point Derek Woodman MINI - .Well done Alison, Dave, Chris and everyone else .170508 ![]() |

Offline | Thanks I received my Derek Woodman Spring 2008 MQ (Mini Quarterly) in the post this morning . Also, a BIG thanks to Phil (there's a nice profile on him in the MQ) who was very helpful the other day when I called in with a noisy 3rd to 2nd gear change problem. He seems to have cured it - nice one Phil !! ![]() Cheers Jim |

Online | Yep, got my MQ today aswell. Also got the car booked in for a list of warranty work too, has Chris moved to the BMW side of things now? That's what my Dad was told when he rang to book my car in the other day. ![]() P.S. Hadn't realised the illuminations Run had raised £400 for the RNLI!! |

Offline | As far as I understand it, Chris has moved to the other side - of the roundabout! Parts appears to be run from the BMW side of Woodmans. Don't worry, Chris still gives his high quality service - and MINI2 prices ![]() |

Offline | Just wanted to say a BIG tank you to the parts department. I was told a part of dash was 5-6 weeks wait....gutted. I was not going to accept that from my local dealer without some investigating. ![]() So phoned Woodmans, who told me that there were none in the factory but there were 6 @ various dealerships. Gave me all the names and numbers and wished me all the best( So sorry I cant remember his name) I was then able to check the part was in at the closest dealership, then phone mine up and ask why they could not be arsed to find one for me!!!! It was one click on the keyboard !!! Thank you Woodmans you have helped get my car on the road quickly to continue my IJ fundraising. My parts business will be deading your way |
