Well, it was bound to happen someday....

Some 16 months (!) after other US MINI dealerships were announced on the MINIUSA website, four MINI dealers in Texas have finally been listed by name (with information on a fifth dealer promised).

These dealer's names have been known for a while, but on the MINIUSA.com site, they are now official:

• John Roberts MINI in Dallas - (October 2002)
  
  Moritz MINI in Dallas - (December 2002)
  
  MINI Center in San Antonio - (March 2003)
  
  Momentum MINI in Houston - (October 2002)
  
  And a soon-to-be-named MINI dealer also in Houston - (date unknown)

Personally, I'm glad that within a month or so my nearest dealer drops from 430 miles away to one in Houston just 180 miles from my home. Then, in about 6 months my nearest MINI dealer will finally be local - only 6 miles away! Patience, patience.

Well, it's now October and as planned there are 2 MINI dealers open in Texas:
