HELP! i need to go to a dealership to discuss trading my mini in for a new one. Cant go back to Mini Chelmsford, amazingly bad service too many times, refuse to give them my money when they insist on treating customers so badly.

So anyone been to colchester mini?? any good?

Any other suggestions on where to go and who to speak to?

I've been to Colchester a few times as they sponsor our local club (East Coast Mini Club). Never had a problem with them, and found them more attentative than Ipswich MINI

We spoke to Sarah in Chelmsford, she seemed to know her stuff but was a bit iffy about the MINI finance, said it was a rate of 5.7% when it was actually worked out at 13%!!

Synter in Harold Wood are quite good, been chatting with Tom and an Aussie girl (forgot her name) She was really helpful and knew her stuff. Even though we didn't get one from new they were really helpful.

Would def recommend Sarah! We're ordering the second MINI in my family (my Dad got my MCD from Chelmsford through Sarah - top notch service). I'm now ordering through Stuart at Chelmsford and is absolutely superb right through (especially proving how capable the Cooper S was in a test drive!). Got me the prices for the JCW Spoiler and R109 Alloys very quickly. Helped me getting my private number plated sorted as well.

Only 45 days to go

Ive been back to them a number of times - thats the problem! Need a couple of goes to fix things sometimes but get there in the end.

Staff are generally good althought they have a few boy racers working there - one of which went flying past me just after I had picked up my car in a M3 whilst he was on the phone (I was going at 70! ) The bad thing was that I had just watched a suit drop that / his M3 off for service!!!!!!!!!

I would check your car in and out! They kerbed my wheels but fair dues to them they did fix them when i pointed it out...

Mini part is good BMW is bad - just be cautious...

Id say Chelmsford...they had a staff shuffle round and are very good now

They also know our club,() Essex Mini2 - A home for Mini in the Essex region, so we get very good deals on parts etc

Simon Norris from MINI Parts is THE man !
