I was looking for a new car but quite undecided on what to buy. I took a test drive in a Cooper S and just had to have one. This was in early August. My local dealer - Rydale,Sutton Coldfield - told me I would have to wait until March! "BUT I WANT ONE NOW" I screamed. He said "no chance mate". So i emailed loads of dealers and got a number of models, that were cancelled orders, to choose from. The nearest spec to the one I wanted was from Elms in Bedford. Natalie the sales girl was great, she followed up on the lead I gave her and closed the sale well by being informative knowledgeable on the Mini.

On 3rd Sept. i took delivery of my black Cooper S with white roof white bonnet stripes. Extras include auto cd changer, air con, and mats. I wanted leather interior but am very happy with what I got.

So as long as you are prepared to be flexible then you can get what you want when you want it.
