Offline | I have recently been taking my MINI one to Scotthall in Leeds as i was getting seriously p***ed off with my previous dealer (i wont mention any names, but its in West Yorkshire) Since the change i cannot priase them enough. All the problems that were not sorted by my previous dealer were rectified immeadiately with no questions asked. I plan on buying an R56 in the coming months and i will definitely be taking my business there. Just goes to show that good service comes full circle and in the long run its in the dealers interest to provide decent service as, when the time comes, you are much more likely to buy a new car from somewhere that actually seems to care!! Thumbs up from me!! |

Online | In my experience the BMW side of the operation is bloody awful. My father and I went too look at 520d Auto SE. They gave the impression they could not care less. At MINI though they are pretty good now. The manager there seem to be on the ball and has brought in a lot of new people. There seems to be a lot of stock brought in on the cherished side from all over the place as well the lot is jammers with MINI's! They seem very keen to do a deal as well, overall I was impressed. Brian. |

Offline | We had the same problem back in 2005. We wanted to buy a 330ci clubsport from them in estoril blue, but they never rang us back - well actually, after 3 weeks they did but that was after I enquired on line. Turned out Castle in York would do it cheaper but we had to have silver. Still when we went over to say we would have it, they had sold it to someone in London! ![]() |

Online | Someone from BMW customer care(maybe Jardine head office, Im not sure) rang to see how my experience was. I wasn't long letting her know I was not impressed in any kind of way. Surprise, surprise the salesman rang the next day. "Is the car I was interested i still available", "well no, but..." "so after 5 weeks you decide to ring me about a car which I could no longer buy?" Absolutely unbelievable! Brian. |

Online | Absolutely and more fool them. Apparently they don't fancy the commission on a 520dSE Auto and my MINI. Its fine, Huddersfield and York are fantastic. It does not bother me in the slightest which town I buy my car from. Brian. |

Offline | In all fairness, Castle MINI have been very good when we bought both our MINIs off them, and their aftersales is USUALLY very good. Tim in sales is excellent! As for BMW, we haven't bought a car from them, but they do maintain and service ours. Grant on service is always helpful and their knowledge is excellent. They aren't as cheap as a back street garage but their expertise makes up for this - they don't rip you off either though! ![]() ![]() The Original MINI One Seven |
