Angry Leasing a MCS?

Has anyone who leased a 2002 MCS received a rate even close to what is stated on the mini site? The local dealer has been REALLY bad with info, especially finanical info, until very recently. Now they are trying to pass off a lease rate (48mo, 48k) at $418/mo!!!!! The web quoted $100 less. Any info would help!

If you want to PM me the specs of your car, and your downpayment ammount, I can see what I can do to get you a better lease rate if you would like.

I'm leasing mine.... That $418 number has tax and license on it. Take off the $35 dollars or so and go back to the online calculator and set the down payment to $0 and it'll only be only about $20 off...
Sorry, but I hope that at least will make you feel a little better. I complained to MINIUSA as well as to the webmaster for the site but have heard nothing as of yet. See my thread

Ok, I've decided:
My Car Aimee: Mini "S", Pure Silver/B, Premium (A/C and sun roof), DSC, Fog, and Heated seats. (Why? 'cause I can't wait a year)

Talking Thanks for the info...but...

My bro got everything worked out to his satisfaction. The Mini Finance folks worked a good deal with a local bank. Payment was within his range and the residual is good. All in all I think he was happy with the experience.
