Any suggestions?

i have the option of cancelling my order for my MCS that i placed in NJ with a 6-7 month wait... which at this time would place the arrival around feb-march of 2003...for an order from the greenville, SC dealer who can get me the car within 8 weeks or so. which means first week of december. Has anyone had experience with Century Mini in SC? how are they? should i just go for it?

Placed my order with Century Mini on 9/30/02, and expect delivery in mid-Novenber. The service has been excellent thus far, and I expect it will continue. What's the Nike slogan....

Century Mini

I bought my PS/B cooper from Century on 7/12/02. Everyone there has been fantastic to work with. Linda and Henk in sales always made me feel welcome even well after the sale. Service has been excellent. The service advisor, Jim and Brent the service tech have both taken time to answer my many questions. I also financed through Century with no problems and my out of state registration went off without a hitch. The parts department even found me a MINI mug that fit the cup holder.
With so many visits over the last several months, Linda and Henk helped talk me into trading my cooper for a DS/B MCS. Actually I talked myself into it more than they did. I picked up my S on 10/2/02. They treated me very fair, even on my trade. Had the total service I received not been of an excellent nature, I would not have returned. I highly recommend Century.

Nice People

They were nice people. Too bad they charge an $895 dealer prep fee. I really would have preferred to buy from them, but I went with Flow Mini in Winston Salem, NC.

Great at Century

Willy, you’re right they are nice people at Century. I too wish they had no extra $895 prep fee. I was able to get my MCS with no wait after someone did not take the car they had ordered, which worked out nice for me.

I stopped by Century this past Friday early evening. I had just returned from an all day drive in the Mountains with 11 other MINIs attending the Euro. The next day was the car show. Henk, without asking took my car back to the washbay and had a mini detail done no charge. He said it needed to look good for the show and he know it would be difficult for me to wash it at the hotel.

My MCS is dark silver and black with bonnet stripes. It was parked at the show on an end space and was nice and clean. Some how I ended up winning 1ST place in the Cooper S class. That was really a pleasant surprise.

Enjoy your new MINI and come join us on a drive.

That type of service eases the $895 sting

I know, it is just that I would rather that $895 go toward some cool options.
