Offline | We picked up our MCS (1st all Jet Black in Wisconsin) last nite at International and they are great! Needless to say so is the car. It got in to them on Friday and we were able to pick it up Monday- super fast prep and service. Special thanks to Aimee, Pat Jeffords, Keith and our motoring "dude" Kyle Larson, who got us all set up and running in less than an hour! 50 miles on the S so far and I must say it reminds me of my rally cars of the past (and hopefully future!) with its stiff suspension & quick steering. Most impressed with the 6 sp. Getrag at this point though as it makes the 4500 rpm limit OK!- for now. Anyone NEEDING a MINI now call International stat, as they have alot to choose from. Kyle said a guy was getting a L Yellow MINI and saw our black one and wanted ours- no way! Guess he going to change his order... Offline | more!!! Oh and we did get a jack which is flopping around this PM. Should this be tied down somewhere? Must be an '03 thing to get one... Showed off the Xenon squirters and now the whole car is sprayed- thats black I guess! Quite the burn off smells going on too, thats been discussed earlier this year tho. Adjusted the tyre pressure down a bit (17s) and boy it didn't take much air release to drop a few pounds- trying 33 for now. Going to adjust the headlights tonite, as the left beam is to high. ![]() Jet Black MCS Lapis leather 17s or 15s (winter) no DSC |
