Towson MINI Drops MINI Loaner Program

Nuf said..it sucks. Two weeks ago I was in for the "Cold start fix" and got a loaner. Left her there tonight for leaking seam on coolant overflow bottle, and no loaners anymore. Towson just went down a notch for me. That being said, Billy Fitzpatrick in service is a great person to deal with...a rare treat.

Thanks for the update...they probably sold the loaners...

Isn't it amazing how a car company can introduce a new car under a different banner, different store front, and do practically NO advertising, and now provide so little in the way of perks to the "valuable" customer? I realize that it is different in the metropolitan areas...but out here in the proverbial "boonies" the MINI barely exists...I have not seen another MINI in over a month...

Stand up and be counted

Obviously in one sense MINI have us by the "short and curlies" as far as trying to effect changes in policy is concerned. Clearly people want MINIs and show it by being willing to commit to the car even in the face of the waiting times now being projected (e.g., "buy" now but expect delivery in March / April). Nonetheless, in the face of lesser vehicle marques [g], such as Ford, offering loaners, it's fair to expect MINI to do the same. If MINI is told this repeatedly, one can hope that MINI management will eventually respond favorably. So, if you are not happy with the current situation, stand up and be counted by telling MINI you expect a loaner car.
